According to witnesses present at the meeting this morning of the bous al carrer of Beniarbeig, a woman has been gored by a cow, whose catch has caused her immediate death. The woman was in the ring, although close to the bars, when the animal approached her without giving her time to react.
The catch has occurred, according to the same sources, after the cow had previously caught another youngster. This had been shaken, although without serious injuries, and between the commotion due to the previous fright the animal has gone towards where she was. This is the seventh death in this type of bullfighting celebrations in the Community this year.
