As the investigations progressed, a link was established between these individuals and another robbery with violence that took place on March 4 at a gas station in Benitatxell. The modus operandi used and the vehicle used were similar to those of the first robbery in Xàbia.

Although the criminals hid the vehicle's license plate, investigators managed to identify it as one stolen in February in Xàbia, and through various efforts they identified the suspects: a 49-year-old father and his 21-year-old son, both with criminal records and residents of Benitatxell. .

In March, during a surveillance at the suspects' home, a patrol observed the vehicle with the criminals, who tried to flee towards Xàbia when required by the agents. A search and arrest device was deployed in collaboration with the Xàbia Local Police, managing to arrest the suspects in a local establishment.

During the search of the detainees' homes, clothing used in the robberies, documentation in the investigation phase and four electric bicycles that are being examined to determine if they were stolen were seized.
