The Pedreguer City Council has hired 5 people through EMERGE, a subsidy from the Department of Sustainable Economy, Productive Sectors, Commerce and Labor through LABORA Valencian Employment and Training Service.
The Department of Employment of the City Council of Pedreguer, through the Local Development Agency of Creama, has managed and obtained the granting of this aid, which is financed with funds from the Public Service
of State Occupation (SEPE), and destined to the hiring of unemployed people, in collaboration with local corporations of the Valencian Community.
The City Council of Pedreguer has received €68.650,49 for the hiring of 5 forest laborers, to carry out actions foreseen in the forestry plans or emergency procedures in the forestry field for 6 months and 11 days, as of 21/10/ 2022 and until 30/04/2023.
In order to carry out all the relevant forestry work, in addition to the Department of Municipal Services and the Municipal Brigade, there is also the support of TRAGSA, which is responsible for training workers in occupational risk prevention, as well as providing protection material. , machinery, vehicle, within the LABORA EMERGE 2022 program.
The five people who have been hired formalized the contract last Friday, October 21, with the Mayor, Sergi Ferrús Peris, with the presence of the Occupation Councillor, Noèlia Miralles Gilabert, the Councilor of
Municipal Services, José Vicente Cabrera, and the Local Development Agent, Rosa Júlia Fornés Alberola.
