The Pedreguer City Council announces a new Plan for the Promotion of Local Employment for the 2022 financial year, which will serve to address the situation of unemployed people in the municipality. The objective of the initiative is to support people with difficulties in integrating into the labor market. The Plan, which this year reaches its tenth edition, will be entirely financed by the City Council.
The aforementioned plan will have a duration of 9 and a half months, and a total of 23 unemployed people from the municipality will participate and are registered at the LABORA (SERVEF) and Creama offices, who will carry out home help assistant tasks (6 people in two shifts, the first for 5 months and the second for 4,5 months, 20 hours per week), laborer (7 people in three shifts, 2 laborers on the first shift -from March 16 to June 30-, 3 laborers to the second shift -from July to September- and 2 laborers to the third shift -from October to December-, 30 hours per week), site official (3 people in three shifts, the first for 3 months and the others for three months , 5 hours per week), painter (30 people in three shifts, the first 3 months and the others three months, 3 hours per week) and forestry brigade (5 people in two shifts, 30 foresters in the first shift -4 from March to July 2- and 16 foresters in the third shift -from October to December-).
The beneficiaries will be formalized an employment contract and will receive the corresponding proportional part according to the Minimum Interprofessional Salary. The groups most affected by the crisis and the long-term unemployed will have preference to participate in the plan.
Those people who want to participate, will have to present the applications (together with the documentation indicated in the bases of the call) to the Entrance Registry of the Pedreguer City Council between February 2 and 16. A technical commission will evaluate and select the candidates, who will start working in March.
