The Ondara City Council is celebrating this Wednesday, February 28, the ordinary plenary session corresponding to this month, and among the points on the agenda it is worth requesting the Valencian Institute of Business Competitiveness (IVACE) for the inclusion of Phase IV of the Improvement of Business Competitiveness projects. conditions of the Marjals-Avenida de Alicante area and Marjals 5, 6 and 7 Industrial Estate in the call for Investment Projects for the Improvement, Modernization and Provision of Infrastructure and Services in Estates, Industrial Areas and technological enclaves, annual 2024.

Likewise, it is intended to empower the Mayor's Office to request the maximum possible subsidy for the fourth phase of these two projects. For this reason, the approval of the technical reports of the two projects will go through the plenary session this Wednesday.

Regarding the Technical Report "Improvement of the Conditions of the Marjals and Av. Alicante area" Phase IV, includes improvements in urban mobility consisting of installation of scooter parking and expansion of the cycle-lane network, improvement of the fire-fighting network through the installation of hydrants, improvement of the green area of ​​the estate, road improvements consisting of sidewalk renewals, paving and optimization of parking lots and the road surface and horizontal and vertical signage to improve universal accessibility, with an estimated budget of 199.699,73 .XNUMX euros.

Regarding the Technical Report "Improvement in the Marjals 5, 6 and 7 Industrial Estate", Phase IV, it consists of the expansion of the provision for surveillance using closed circuit television (CCTV), improvements in urban mobility consisting of adaptation and provision of parking for scooters, improvement of lighting in the pedestrian access area with energy efficient solutions, improvement of the green area of ​​the estate and landscape regeneration, with the creation of bio-healthy areas and horizontal and vertical signage to improve universal accessibility , with an estimated budget of 199.886,92 euros.
