Juan Carlos Mut (Restart Benissa): "This Sunday the 28th we can choose a Benissa of the future in which we all have a place"

May 24 from 2023 - 07: 00

Juan Carlos Mut leads Reiniciem Benissa, the independent party that in 2019 achieved 1.136 votes (25,94%) and obtained 5 councilors, becoming the second most voted force and the leader of the opposition in the Benissa City Council. On the occasion of the municipal elections on May 28, lamarinaalta.com interviews his mayoral candidate, Juan Carlos Mut.

ASK. Why do you think the residents of Benissa have to vote for you to be the mayor of their municipality for the next 4 years?

ANSWER. The Benissa veïnat is free to vote who vulga, (faces a little cost to demand the vote). Arabé, the one that I can address to the people of Benissa is that I can contribute a humble, hard-working and inclusive vision to the leadership of our Town Hall. I will be in compte des of the most central neighborhood fins to the last game at the time of seeing our term and its needs.
Wow, if we govern, I will not lead with trellat, something so simple and now so necessary.

Q. How do you assess the management of the government team carried out in the last 4 years?

R. It was managed by the government team during this legislature in a sad cause, sincerely. When I thought about the quantity of diners utilitzats, without cap direction or full route, and above all, without having a global vision and valuing the whole and needs of the people and of the second population. Doncs això, sador.

Per això crec that the next day people will learn the possibility of capturing this situation. On the 28th we can decide that, when we look at the Benissa of the future, we all have a fat head, that surely we will feel much more joy.

Let's talk a little about the proposals that have been raised in this election campaign...

P. HOUSING. What do you propose to facilitate access to housing for the youngest and people with low incomes?

R. As the objective is to facilitate the habitat, the first thing that will come to mind is to work to facilitate communication between those who are looking for a house, and those who are not offering. We are clearly in a habitat crisis: there is more rain in Benissa, almost the majority of the houses are built and the market prices are more directed to tourism than to permanently live the population.

Ara mateix, the supramunicipal administrations have both understandings to mitigate the situation, with Decree llei 6/2020 derecho de tanteig i retracte, the regulation d'habitatges buits i deshabitats de la Generalitat Valenciana, or coordinate-us with the Ministry of 'Habitatge per a la compra de flats propietat de la SAREB que hi ha al nostre poble porquè pasen a parten del parc d'habitatge público de lloguer.

I, by descomptat, a work from the Town Hall exclusively coordinated for the creation of a local habitat park. With the planning, and also the use of the eines unnamed, it is possible to acquire real estate for this purpose, so that it helps to cover the demand for housing of the Benissers and Benisseres.

Q. TOURISM. What tourism model do you want for Benissa?

R. We understand that tourism is the image that we give to the world, but we cannot turn this appearance into the economic pillar of the people.

We know that Benissa is a very kind people who visit us, and it is clear that we are in a privileged place. Ara bé, tot i les seues preciosas cales i maravelloses muntanyes, Benissa és molt més que tot això, and more than a tourist model, the one that I propose is a model of poble amb el turisme with one more pota.

The tourist activity can be a support that provides stability, but not its main pillar. We cannot lose sight of who we are, on arrival and who our resources can sustain.

p. TRANSPORTATION. Do you think that Benissa is a municipality with good urban public transport?

R. No, patim an obvious lack of public transport. Living in Benissa implies a high dependency on private vehicles, providing opportunities for mobility for young people, elderly people and people who do not have their own house.

S'haguera could apply the Sustainable Urban Mobility Plan, which has been drafted for 4 years, but is probably obligated in some caixó despite our insistence on recovering it. Ara quan tornem, he will rebuke us.

Cal strengthen and improve the service of the Benibús, established to restart Benissa in 2018, and charge more necessities, with the area of the Industrial Estate of La Pedrera, the cement, along with extending the hours because it is more useful.

Also adapting the bus stops, because tractant-se of a service so valued by the citizens, it is important to promote their use and facilitate their access to all the people.

Q. INFRASTRUCTURES. What infrastructures do you consider to be most necessary for your municipality?

R. Ara mateix, the most necessary infrastructure in Benissa is a day center for our great people. Society is getting better every time, we have a higher life expectancy and our people are no exception. There are many families who have to move the second largest people to the municipalities of the region because they may have good attention and they cannot continue.

The current team of the government of the Partit Popular was going to pose the elderly people of Benissa in a farmhouse that they donate to the north (evidently not ho varem permetre) and to send it directly to an area of the residence of the acians and això també it is inadmissible The greatest people of Benissa deserve the best deal that the city council can offer, and for that reason it is necessary to create a public day center in the proper legislature.

Benissa also needs a worthy polyvalent space for the concerts of the band, the choir, the groups and for the performances that the collective lectius festivals organize. Se n'han fet de noves i cap d'elles ha cobert les necessitats que tea el poble.

We are aware of the difficulty that the creation of these infrastructures supposes, but they are necessary and it requires an effort or the search for supra-municipal funds for their reality.

Q. SOCIAL SERVICES. How do you think the Benissa Social Services should improve?

R. The current economic situation is very complex, from month to month, our model favors precariousness. We have to try to improve the socio-labor conditions so that people do not need the social services, but if they are fans, they have all the mitjans and the necessary help so as not to leave anyone behind.

Q. URBAN PLANNING. How should the urban future of Benissa be? What measures do you propose in this matter?

R. Our territory, the coastal area in particular, is a good example of unsustainable urban development based on the rapid enrichment of companies in the sector that has caused a real estate saturation in an area that does not count as well. basics with the clavegueram, for example.

At the moment, Benissa is one of the municipalities of all the states with the best name of built cases. I certify that several of them are second residence or tourist residence, but it is also true that several others are in a situation of semi-abandonment or that several of the farms projected to the urban area during the urban development hui are només oblidades structures.

The construction in Benissa must focus on the rehabilitation of existing houses, while the areas with the greatest ecological, natural and scenic value must be preserved. The resources (the water, the sun or the water) are limited, they need a model of sustainable development and respect for the natural environment.

Q. What does Benissa need the most? What is the most important measure of their program that they will carry out if they govern?

R. Benissa needs, above all, to be well governed. The popular governments have carried urban negligence that are assuming a series of sentences against the city council that has paid and will pay the people with the money they obtain from their taxes. All the management is focused on a few areas among the rest that you need.

We have to reverse this situation and work from 4 very clear events that we have to face with a government and with a society in the next few years:

1. Fly a Benissa Verda that rains against climate change and high temperatures, It is necessary to multiply the shadow zones, we have to work for the installation of solar panels in public buildings, promote an energy cooperative to be sustainable and balance the Benisseres in the light bill. Not because the government of the Partit Popular has signed a contract with Iberdrola when the light was more expensive and that in the next few years we have an extra cost of 2,4 million euros on the bill for the light and that I have to pay tots. It is also very important to prepare the town against the fires after so much drought. I per descomptat fer les egestiones que calguer para detener el construcció de l'últim espai verd a la costa que ens queda als i les benisseres. The citizens have to make it clear that if the government of the PP and CIBE returns, construction will end.

2. Take care of the neighborhoods and parties. Our streets and roads are abandoned, we have to recover a town that liked to be passejat. Keep activating life in the neighborhoods, as we are going to start when we are going to govern, there are more communal spaces, more sports areas, greener and more parking spaces. We also have the snake of the new Avinguda País Valencià, we have to be capable of between all and all to think how to sew the two parts of the people on the people and their day to day are at the center of the debate.

3. Volem that Benissa continue to be the capital of welfare. As we have said, it is urgent and extremely important that the opening of a day center for our majors not pass this legislature. We need to recover the culture of associationism that was in Benissa, in this legislature they have completely ignored the col·lectius that disinterestedly fan a crucial paper to our people, ho know why they format and form part of moltes d'elles. We will open the Town Hall and between all and all we will have a new town with an attractive program.

4. We must be a people of the future. Not because our young people leave town to study and can't return, or that they feel anar-se'n have no way of finding a girl or that the one that offers them is still so precarious. Cal explore new lives but it will not depend solely on tourism: from exploring millions for the primary sector, the attraction of companies focused on R + D + I to promoting employment through the programs of the Generalitat Valenciana that ara mateix They are not duent a cap in the municipality. From time to time, we will be together with the autonomous people of the town because they get aid and subsidies that many volts is disconnected from and can help to implement our business models or generate more jobs. And finally, but not least, being capable of the mechanisms that you bring to them allows Benissa to continue with a population to be able to live, not a population where speculators and fund-voltors dominate the real estate market. Our fills and filles have to be able to become independent and have a future here!
