It will therefore be the third legislature of a Government Pact in which PSPV-PSOE and Compromís affirm that "it is signed from the professionalism and mutual trust of both political formations as basic features in the confluence of the respective electoral programs." A Government Pact in which, considering that PSPV-PSOE and Compromís assume co-responsibility in each and every one of the decisions that are taken from the different work areas, the appropriate mechanisms will be created so that decision-making has a collective nature. Given the ethical and committed value of the alliance, and to guarantee compliance with the provisions, A Monitoring Commission will be created made up of members external to the current councilors so that the integrating desire of the government pact is reflected.

Jordi Dominguis has stated that they have reached a "fair agreement" and that they will make it a "stable agreement", saying that "it was a necessary pact in the current political moments" because "we need progress policies to have continuity", adding that «we conclude the stage of competitiveness and negotiation; now it is necessary to start working all together, the stage of politics begins with a capital P».

Points of understanding between both parties

  • We will comply with this agreement from the first to the last day, from the inauguration to the end of the legislature, in order to guarantee firmness within the government team. In addition, we will fight and stand up for the entire team and each one of those responsible who come out of the organization of the positions (mayor's office, mayoral deputies, councilors, government bodies, etc.), at all times and situations.
  • Professionalism, efficiency and common sense will prevail when organizing and managing the new government team, and all prominence and partisan interests will be avoided.
  • We will carry out progressive policies and we will work to maintain the form of government of the people, involving the people in the participatory and assembly culture, and in short, we will make the sovereignty reside in the people.

General lines of the government program

Having said this, some general priority lines are marked:

  • Transparency and Participation: During the last eight years, these guidelines have been met, but we want to go one step further and we want to make access to the transparency portal on the City Council website more intuitive and easy and to continue publishing more information for citizens and citizens (subsidies and financial aid granted, inventory of municipal assets, public economic audit available to the people...).
  • In relation to citizen participation, we will fully develop the Citizen Participation Regulations approved in the last legislature, so that sovereignty continues to reside in the People.
  • Urban development: Once the numerous urban development agreements that our town hall had with residents of the town, which conditioned the urban growth of the municipality, have expired, the time has come to make it grow in a rational and sustainable way, developing the current PGOU where the Barri sectors stand out. del Crist and Blasco Ibáñez - Av. Adolfo Suárez. In addition, the PGOU will be updated to guarantee the unification of the schools and the adaptation to new needs of the technical area.
  • Organization: We will continue to bet on horizontal management, where each councilor is responsible for their area, supported by the entire government team. In the same way, we are committed to the transversality of the councils to make the work areas more communicative.
  • Economic status of the City Council: We will continue to systematically evaluate all public policies to find out what works and what does not in the consistory, seeking information for taxpayers on the effectiveness of each policy that is implemented and the economic or social return of every euro invested. It's not about spending more, it's about spending better.
  • The effective, efficient and effective management of all the resources of the City Council and the town: We want to move towards a sustainable town model that is committed to the environment, renewable energy and sustainable commerce that improves our town and the day-to-day life of its neighbors and neighbors Work with fewer economic resources to obtain more and better results.
