The EXPLUS and EMPUJU grants from the Ministry of Sustainable Economy, Productius Sectors, Comerç i Treball through the Servei Valencià d'Ocupació i Formació (LABORA), the City Council of Gata de Gorgos has been able to hire four unemployed people during one year.
The EXPLUS program has allowed the hiring of two laborers for the municipal services brigade as of July 21. The subsidy, with an amount of 30.384 euros, is for full-time temporary contracts of unemployed people of at least 30 years of age by local entities of the Valencian Community (Avalem experiència plus), which can be financed by the European Social Fund with position in the Operatiu FSE 2021-2027 program of the Valencian Community.
On the other hand, within the EMPUJU program, it has been possible to hire two administrative staff with a subsidy of 31.585,32 euros for the full-time temporary hiring of unemployed people under 30 years of age who are registered as job seekers in the Labora Spaces of the Generalitat and as beneficiaries in the file of the National Youth Guarantee System. These conditions must be met at the time of contracting. The subsidy is included in the framework of the Operational Program for youth employment of the European Fund 2014-2020 of the Valencian Community.
