This week, maintenance work begins on the 45 streetlights on Gabriel Miró Avenue in Calp, which required painting work on their concrete base, staffs and supports. These streetlights located on the most commercial street in the municipality constitute the hallmark of the road.
In addition, the 19 lights on Paseo de las Quintas and the six banks in this area have also been painted, as well as the street lamp on Málaga Street with Puerto de Santa María. All streetlights have been cleaned with an electric brush and have been given an antioxidant primer with layers of anti-graffiti protector.
Given the specificity of the work, the City Council put out to tender a few months ago this service, which was finally awarded to the company Sociedad Ibérica de Construcciones Eléctricas for an amount of €26.162.
