The National Police have arrested two men and a woman in the municipalities of Beniarbeig and Dénia for drug trafficking, thanks to the investigation of the Judicial Police Group of the Dénia Police Station. The arrest of the first two people occurred in a bar, after the authorities received a call reporting damage to the establishment's furniture.
The agents were witnessed in the damaged premises because the arrested had carried out a strong argument with the owner, in which they came to break glasses and hit the furniture. When the police responded to the call, the two detainees tried to leave the place.
They were finally intercepted and detained after being found in the frisk and the search of the vehicle that they were driving 12,8 grams of cocaine prepared for sale; 530 euros in cash divided into various notes of 50, 20, 10 and 5 euros; and a notebook with notes of names of people and amounts of money.
After these events, a police investigation was launched that led the agents to a home in the town of Beniarbeig. There was an entry and search authorized by the competent judicial authority. In the search of the house, 530 grams of marijuana, a precision scale and a total of 6.430 euros were seized, of which 6.000 euros were hidden in a guitar.
After searching the house, the agents arrested the owner of the home, who was in the house at the time. The drug seized in this police operation would have had a market value of almost 4.000 euros.
Of the three detainees, one of them was released after giving a statement at police stations. The other two arrested were placed at the disposal of the Denia Guard Court of Instruction.
