The Aldea de las Cuevas urbanization is a population center that began to form between the 70s and 80s of the 90th century. XNUMX% of its land belongs to the municipality of Benidoleig, but the other small part is located in terms of Pedreguer and Alcalalí.
Being high, it has very good views. In 2015 it had about 150 inhabitants, mostly English, although there are also many French and German citizens and other nationalities.
