This morning the Center for Vincentian Studies of Teulada received 363 copies of Tomás Merlos' bibliographic collection on Sant Vicent Ferrer. A transcendental cultural milestone for the town, according to the City Council, turning the Study Center "into one of the most important libraries" on the figure of the patron saint of Teulada.
This valuable compilation represents a literary gem that covers several centuries of history, with some volumes dating from the mid-16th century. The presentation and reception of this donation was attended by Tomás Merlos himself, the Councilor for Culture, Rosana Caselles, the mayor of Teulada Moraira, Raúl Llobell and the representatives of the technical department, Jaume Buigues and Maite Blasco, as well as representatives of different local associations, such as ACAT, the VIé Centenari and the Sant Vicent Ferrer festival commission, and scholars of the figure of the saint, such as Vicente Ramón Vallés.
