The patron saint festivities of the Verger in honor of the Mare de Déu del Roser return to the municipality. This 2023, from August 9 to 22 the town will once again live its beloved festivals in which festeros, festeras, quintos, quintas and Moros i Cristians will be the stars. To this end, this year's Festival Committee has prepared a long and intense program of events and activities.

Saturday 29 July
- 12: 00 hours: General bell ringing.
- 20: 00 hours: Collection of Festeras by the Festeros, accompanied by the Colla l'Esclat.
- 21: 30 hours: Collection of Children's Festeros and authorities in the Plaza del Ayuntamiento.
- 22: 00 hours: Great presentation of the Festros Mayores and Festros Infantiles 2023 in the courtyard of CEIP Segària. Next, and in the same place, the festeros will delight us with their performances.
Tuesday August 8
- 20: 00 hours: Inaugural concert of the Patron Saint Festivities by the El Verger Musical Association and the Espai de Música Jove del Verger in the Plaza Mayor.
Wednesday August 9
- 20: 30 hours: Concentration of the Moorish and Christian factions in front of the Social Center.
- 21: 00 hours: Departure of the Moro side, accompanied by the Colla l'Esclat, and Cistiano, accompanied by La Colleta, from the Social Center towards the Plaza del Ayuntamiento where the Castle will be located. Then holding l'Estafeta , theambaixada y Christian capitulation.
- 22: 30 hours: Popular brotherhood dinner organized by the Consell Moro i Cristià and the Captaincies 2024, filà Mora Azáhira and filà Cristiana Dracs Negres.
- 00: 30 hours: Verbena with the group Glob Esponja and later DJ Taron. Organized by the Consell Moro i Cristià and the Captaincies 2024.
Thursday August 10 - Entrance of the murta
- 12: 00 hours: General bell ringing.
- 19: 00 hours: death entrance accompanied by Tocant i Rodant, La Colleta, La Colla l'Esclat and the Associació Musical El Verger from Plaça Rei Jaume I to the Town Hall where the proclamation will be read and the rocket announcing the start of the festivities will be launched at the City Hall balcony. Order of the parade: Tocant i Rodant - chariot of the murta - Festers Majors - La Colla l'Esclat - Children's Festers 2023 - El Verger Musical Association - Rest of quintadas from youngest to oldest - La Colleta.
- 22: 00 hours: Paella night on Calle Mayor, enlivened by the Xaranga Garanxa. There will be a distribution of chairs, tables, firewood and everything you need to make a paella with prior registration at the town hall. Registration from July 17 to 28 for residents of Calle Mayor. From August 1 to 8 for the rest of the residents. Hours from 10:30 a.m. to 13:00 p.m. Ticket price for 10 people is 30 euros.

Friday August 11 - Day of the xiquets
- 10: 00 hours: Concentration of all the boys and girls of the town in the Plaza del Ayuntamiento with the T-shirt of the Quintà and the drum.
- 10: 30 hours: Spruce drummed accompanied by the ESMUJ Children's Batukada, to the municipal swimming pool where the little ones will enjoy water games until 14:00 p.m. The parade will be opened by the Festeros Infantiles 2023, followed by the rest of the quintadas accompanied by the Batukada Infantil de l'ESMUJ.
- 17: 00 hours: Games in the municipal swimming pool, sponsored by the Diputación de Alicante.
- 18: 00 hours: Great motorcycle tape race where you have to go dressed up.
- 20: 00 hours: Festival Concert by La Colla l'Esclat, celebrating its 20th anniversary.

Saturday August 12 - Floats and comparsas
- 11: 00 hours: Ribbon race by bike and traditional games for children in La Parra street.
- 19: 00 hours: Great parade of floats and troupes that Tocant i Rodant will open following the usual itinerary, up to the Plaza del Ayuntamiento. The following prizes will be awarded (prior registration at Papereria Mayovi and Atmòfera Sport): 1st prize floats of 650 euros, 2nd prize of 450 euros and 3rd prize of 250 euros; Comparsas 1st prize of 400 euros, 2nd of 300 euros and 3rd of 200 euros. The rental floats are not entered into the contest. The jury will award the prizes when the parade ends from the main entrance of the Town Hall. The jury may declare any of the prizes void if it deems it appropriate.

Sunday August 13 - Day of Sant Joaquim and Santa Anna
- 11: 00 hours: Concentration in the Plaza del Ayuntamiento of Festeros Mayores, Infantiles and Authorities.
- 11: 30 hours: Collection of the Third Age in the Social Center accompanied by the Espai de Música Jove del Verger.
- 12: 00 hours: Mass in honor of Sant Joaquim and Santa Anna accompanied by dolçaina and piano by Pasqual Salort and Alex Velàzquez. Next appetizer.
- 19: 30 hours: Concentration of Moors and Christians, gangs and gangs in front of the Sabó Factory.
- 19: 45 hours: Entrance of Moors and Christians by the main street to the Castell (Plaza del Ayuntamiento). This year the Festeros 2023 will also accompany us.

- 12: 00 hours: Mass in honor of Sant Isidre sung by the Orfeón del Verger. Next, the blessed fruit will be distributed to the Plaza del Ayuntamiento.
- 12: 00 hours: cercavila enlivened by a brass band to enjoy picaetes and tastings in all cables for all those associated with the Consell. Finally, there will be an open bar and sweets at the Fàbrica de Sabó.
- 20: 00 hours: Offering of flowers to our patron saint the Virgen del Rosario in the church square with the participation of the Moors and Christians and all the associations of the town that want to participate, accompanied by La Colleta and the Escola López Cabrera - Espai de Música Jove del Verger, the Colla l'Esclat and the Associació Musical El Verger. The participants of the offering are requested to present themselves half an hour before in the Plaza del Ayuntamiento to start on time.

- 12: 00 hours: Mass in honor of our patron saint, the Virgen del Rosario, sung by the Coral del Verger.
- 14: 00 hours: Water battle in Calle Mayor, organized by the Consell Moro i Cristià. Please do not pour water before the announcing rocket.
- 18: 00 hours: Band entry and glues by the musical associations that are part of the parade of Moors and Christians. There will be a bar service in charge of the captaincies in Sant Lluís street and in the Plaza del Ayuntamiento.
- 19: 30 hours: Spectacular entrance of Moors and Christians accompanied by their music bands or glues and the spectacular retinues or rumors which this year are in charge of the captaincies 2023, filà Mora Azáhira and filà Cristiana Dracs Negres. - 21: 00 hours: Procession in honor of the patron saints of our town accompanied by Tocant i Rodant, la Colleta, the colla l'Esclat and the El Verger Musical Association. then great Fireworks castle by the Hermanos Caballer pyrotechnics.

- 16: 30 hours: Quintades Festival at the Sabó Factory.
- 19:30 hours: Entry and exit of bulls and cows from the Hermandad ranch (Xàbia). Immediately afterwards, special from the Asensi cattle farm (Orba) to the release of cows (Dinamita, Golosa i Pastissera).
