On May 20, the third meeting of feminist artists and creators of the Marina Alta will be held in Pedreguer, an event that promises to be a success for lovers of art and culture.
The Pedreguer House of Culture will host the meeting, which is now in its third edition and which will begin with the presentation of the round table Interdisciplinary artistic collectives in motion of Peoples in Art and MAR-Mujeres Artistas Rurales, moderated by Tectónica Cultural, which will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. After this first part, there will be a 30-minute coffee break.
Then, from 12:00 to 13:30 p.m., the manifesto created by the artists of the region will be presented and a workshop will be held on how to create a cultural association, energized by MACMA and Cultural Tectonics.
After the morning event, attendees will have the opportunity to enjoy lunch, a workshop and a concert in the Plaza de la Amistad, starting at 14:30 p.m. Finally, from 16:30 p.m. to 18:00 p.m., a collective work will be carried out as a result of the manifesto Women Artists, Feminists and Rural of the Marina Alta. And finally, at 19:00 p.m., there will be a concert with performances by Eva Olivencia and Candela Roots.
This meeting aims to give visibility and recognition to the women artists of the Marina Alta and promote cultural associations among them. With this initiative, promoted and organized by the Department of Equality of Pedreguer and the MASSMA, the aim is to promote artistic creation from a feminist and rural perspective and value the cultural and artistic heritage of the region.
