The planned works on the El Algar and Mascarat viaducts will require close railway circulation between Garganes and Calp on Line 9 (Benidorm-Dénia) of the TRAM d'Alacant. For this reason, Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat Valenciana will enable bus service between the stations of Altea, Garganes and Calp next Saturday, November 6 between 08:00 a.m. and 14:15 p.m..
In this way, passengers traveling to Garganes can do so by train, while those who wish to continue the journey towards Dénia must do transfer with bus in Altea. The bus stop at Altea will be located in the N-332 on La Mar street (in front of the Granada bar) and of Calp in front of the station.
On the other hand, the stops of Cap Negret and Olla Altea will be without service first thing in the morning, coinciding with the work of El Algar. So that They will recover the service when they finish, that is, around 11:15 a.m., approximately.
FGV plans to carry out during the morning different monitoring verification work on viaducts from El Algar, first, and Mascarat, later. These devices are already installed and, based on data and alarm management and control software, they allow a system to control the behavior of the structure of both viaducts.
