The Casa de Cultura Jaume Pastor i Fluixà de Calp is the municipal building that houses the various cultural and educational initiatives in the municipality. It constitutes the cultural venue par excellence in the town since its inauguration in 1999.

Location
The Jaume Pastor i Fluixà House of Culture is located in the Masnou avenue number 1, next to the Plaza Mayor of Calp.
To whom does it owe its name?
Jaume Pastor i Fluixà was a renowned person on the Calp cultural scene. Graduated in Geography and History, he dedicated his life to the Calpina culture and history, coming to hold different positions for this purpose. He established himself as a local historian through his work and was the promoter of the Calp Municipal Public Library.
In August 1992, he died from a shot at the door of his house. After the event, he was granted the recognition of Favorite Son of the Villa de Calp and it was agreed to give his name to the House of Culture. In the same way, the prizes that the City Council grants each year for October 9 also receive the name of Jaume Pastor i Fluixà.
Facilities
The House of Culture in Calp is a large building that combines various spaces with their own entity at your facilities. The construction contains the Calpino Auditorium and the Odeón Theater in the open air, mainly.
For its main function as a House of Culture, it is equipped with various facilities necessary to develop the cultural life of the municipality. Thus, in it you can find:
- Blue Room. A large room with a capacity of 126 seats to hold concerts, congresses or conferences.
- Public Library Joanot Martorell.
- Classrooms and seminars on the first floor and semi-basement.
- Informatics room with 15 computers.
- Two ballet halls with capacity for 10 and 14 people, respectively.
- Fine Arts Exhibition Hall on the first floor.
- Showroom on the ground floor.
- Coffee shop

Hall
The Auditorium is a room equipped to house all kinds of artistic and cultural shows, such as plays. On the outside, and next to the main entrance of the House of Culture, the box office of the enclosure is located.

Odeon Theater
As a great complement to the House of Culture, the Odeón Theater is a Adjacent outdoor installation shaped like a Roman amphitheater. The capacity of this theater is 658 seats.
