Twelve women from Ondara star in the documentary "Extraordinàries" that will be released tomorrow

On the occasion of 8M, International Women's Day, Ondara presents this Friday the 17th the documentary Extraordinàries: reflection of the gifts of Ondara, of the passat, of the present and for the future, framed in the program “Març amb nom de Dona”. The appointment will be at the Valerià Gil de Ondara Municipal Auditorium at 20:00 p.m.

The documentary, produced by the Department of Equality of the Ondara City Council, aims to take a tour of the history of the municipality from the point of view of 12 women who, through their experiences, weave a living account of local history from the point of view feminine view.

The audiovisual piece is based on interviews with the protagonists, who deal with topics of a diverse nature such as work, the economy, youth or the family, among others. These twelve women are: Joaquina Català Garrido (1953), Encarna Bas Ramis (1938), Angela Giner Ramis (1949), Enriqueta Fonseca Rosello (1945), Pepa Granel (1953), Conchín Mas Mengual (1958), Rosita Monjo Salort ( 1928), Rosario Vidal Riera (1935), Rosita Escrivà Doménech (1933), Teresa Miralles (1927), Maria Seser (1941) and Rosa Carpi Ramis (1945).

The Department of Equality would like to thank Carlos Torres, Vicent Ortuño, Toni Marí, Amàlia Garrigòs, Eulogia, Pura, Juan Ortuño and Pura Ferrando for their collaboration in carrying out the project. The documentary will also be available starting next Monday, March 20 at the YouTube channel of the Ondara City Council.
