A warm, safe place with lots of stories and games. This is the new baby library of the Library of El Poble Nou de Benitatxell, a room dedicated to babies and their families to read, play and learn. It has been inaugurated this Saturday with a drink and a small act in which families have been with their little ones and little ones, as well as various members of the government team.
With this space it is intended to facilitate access to the smallest and smallest to the library, to books and, of course, to reading. It is a place to enjoy with the family and browse books settled and lying on the floor. That is why the space has comfortable and pleasant furniture for the little ones such as poufs, cushions, a table and stools, and shelves full of stories so they can choose the ones they like the most. In addition, there is a space dedicated to books that may be of interest to families.
Taking advantage of the works, it is not the only action that has been carried out in the Library. On the first floor there has also been an expansion of the space for the installation of more shelves that allow us to continue acquiring bibliographic material.

These last two actions continue to improve the infrastructure and give continuity to the 'MenutClub' project, with which the cultural center wants to get closer to the youngest and youngest of the town and their families. Within this framework, the collection of books for babies is being expanded, the bibliography addressed to parents on topics such as pregnancy, prepartum, postpartum, education, etc., and workshops such as massages or first aid for babies. In addition, a changing table has also been installed for the convenience of the users.
Regarding the removal of architectural barriers, in recent months other small actions have been carried out such as the installation of an access ramp at the entrance, the assembly of an automatically opening door and the creation of a toilet adapted for people with reduced mobility.
