Yesterday, Wednesday, the Royal Camp in Beniarbeig officially opened its doors, an initiative developed by the Reis Commission and the Festival Department of the local City Council. This intervention, unprecedented to date, is carried out in the recreational area of the Girona River, a natural location where this festive project has been carried out. The Comissió has dedicated itself to beautifying up to 10.000 square meters of a municipal place, where approximately 50.000 LED lights have been installed to conceive a space that houses workshops and where the royal emissaries received the letters of all the boys and girls who came.
When does Camp Royal open?
Regarding the programming of the Royal Camp, it will open again today, Thursday, starting at 18:00 p.m., offering bar services with specialties such as chocolate and Coca Maria, as well as workshops. Starting at 19:30 p.m., the presence of the royal emissaries is expected to deliver the letters to the Three Wise Men of the East. Likewise, today, Thursday is the last day to visit the installation, since tomorrow, Friday, the parade and reception of the Three Wise Men will take place in Plaza 9 de Octubre starting at 19:30 p.m.
Given the relevance of this proposal, the Festival Councilor, Mario Ortiz, expressed his gratitude for the great effort and involvement of the Reis Commission. Furthermore, he took the opportunity to invite the residents of Beniarbeig and the entire Marina Alta to attend this first edition of the Royal Camp, and thus enjoy the magic and lights in this last stage of the Christmas season.
