The Generalitat Valenciana, through the Autonomous Secretariat for Security and Emergencies, which is in charge of bullfighting shows, has awarded the biannual award 'Va de Bous 2022'.
In the category of bous al carrer, although on this occasion it refers to the 'bous a la sea' modality, three towns in the Marina Alta region have been named: Dénia, Xàbia and Teulada-Moraira.
This prize was also awarded to the Valencian bullfighter, Vicente Ruiz 'el Soro', Paco Brines and the Vilafranca del Cid Bullring.
Benicarló for its bous al carrer and on 'September 7', the big festival in Puçol also received this bullfighting badge.
