The Pego City Council continues to bet on family reconciliation also in the festive period. Through the Department of Social Services, it will launch the free Christmas School, open to boys and girls between the ages of 3 and 12.
This initiative was born with the purpose of improving family conciliation for those fathers and mothers who work during the holidays and have sons and daughters of school age. The service will be available on December 23, 27, 28, 29, 30 and from January 2 to 5, from 9 a.m. to 14 p.m. The boys and girls will spend the mornings cared for by professionals at the Espai Veïnal Antic Institut.
Places are limited so registration is required. "Together with the registration form, a general request must be attached through the electronic headquarters of the Pego City Council or present said documentation at the Social Services offices, at Calle Ramón y Cajal 14, from 9 a.m. to 14 p.m." , they explain from the department.
“We repeat this service again because it has been well received in previous editions. We facilitate family reconciliation because not everyone has Christmas parties nor can mothers and fathers use grandparents, uncles or siblings to entrust their children to while they work”, comments the Councilor for Social Services, Merxe Bolta.
