The Pedreguer municipal equality commission has prepared a series of events throughout the month of November to continue fighting against sexist violence.
The day November 23th there will be an exploratory march through the urban area of Pedreguer, the activity requires prior registration and has limited places (information and registration here). The march will be led by Virginia Real and Cristina Dueñas, members of the Accesscity company, and winners of the Pedreguer 2022 equality research awards. The study is related to the perception of security of women to appropriate the spaces.
El November 24th At 19:30 p.m., the presentation of the IV Concurs de microrelats d'igualtat i diversitats of the IES Pedreguer will take place at the Casa de Cultura. The new edition of the short stories will be presented at the event and the winners will share their stories.
The day November 25th The demonstration is called by the equality commission, where a large part of the citizens of Pedreguer and outside are expected to participate. The demonstration will start at 19:00 from the Glorieta de la Creu and will end in the Plaça de l'Amistat. For the demonstration, the two primary schools, CEIP Trinquet and CEIP Alfàs, and the IES Pedreguer are carrying out actions to sensitize the students and add as many families and the educational community to the demonstration.
The demonstration will end in Plaça de l'Amistat where the performance “Epicentre” will take place by Les 9 Muses. The performance aims to commemorate the victims of gender violence this year 2022. To carry out the performance, disused t-shirts have been requested; therefore, all those people who want to participate can wear the t-shirts until November 24 at the house of culture.
