The Ondara City Council has approved in the Governing Board the administrative and technical specifications for contracting the management of the Ondara Municipal Trinquet facilities, once the previous concession has ended. It is intended to award the integral management of the Trinquet de Ondara facilities to a contractor who takes charge of these, and who is remunerated through a fixed payment by the City Council and from the income from the bar and from the activities of the facilities sports.

The presentation of offers will be made until January 23, 2023 in the Contractor Profile of the Ondara City Council hosted at the Public Sector Procurement Platform. All the documentation regarding the integral management of the Ondara Municipal Ratchet facilities can be consulted on the platform.

Regarding the approved specifications, the integral management of the Trinquet Municipal facilities includes: organizing and managing the use of the Trinquet facilities, under the direction and supervision of the City Council; organize and manage the holding of Pilota games, competitions or tournaments, with the collaborations that the contractor considers in the different public entities (City Hall, Federation, etc.) and private entities or associations; maintenance, conservation, cleaning and ordinary repair of the facilities; includes concierge and building custody services; the provision of the bar-bar service located in the Trinquet building; and in general, any other functions that are necessary for the adequate and efficient use and maintenance of the Municipal Trinquet facilities. In reference to the use of part of the facilities as a cafeteria-bar, the musical atmosphere is not allowed.

The provision of the service in the Bar-Cafeteria will be provided, at least, during the following hours: Monday to Friday, from 17:00 p.m. to 22:00 p.m. And Saturdays, Sundays and holidays from 09:30 to 14:00 and from 15:30 to 20:00. The successful bidder may have one day off a week as long as it does not coincide with specific events. He may have the corresponding month of vacation always with prior municipal authorization.

The initial duration of the contract will be 2 years, with the possibility of 2 extensions of 1 year (maximum) each, by mutual agreement between the parties. The maximum duration of the contract, including all its extensions, may not exceed four years. The estimated value of the contract is estimated in the amount of €29.180, VAT excluded.

As an economic benefit in favor of the contractor by the Ondara City Council, a maximum of €1.400,00 + €294,00 (VAT) will be paid quarterly to the concessionaire; which is equivalent to an annual amount of €5.600,00 + €1.176 (VAT), a total of €6.776,00 per year (maximum annual bidding price). In addition to the direct economic benefit from the City Council, the successful bidder will also be compensated directly by the users, through the price that they will pay as consideration for the services they offer. The prices for sale to the public offered by the successful bidder will be free for the general public, although they will not have to exceed the average price established in the surrounding establishments, during the entire term of the contract.

The contractor will have to be registered in the corresponding economic activity (IAE), comply with tax, labor and social security obligations, and will have to subscribe a civil liability insurance policy for an amount of 750.000 euros, among other conditions.
