Yesterday, the Department of Agriculture presented the Plan to revitalize and enhance the value of 'Moscatell de la Marina Alta', a mature, serious and responsible project with which it intends to continue promoting and promoting not only one of the best grape varieties in all the world, but also a model of life and a way of understanding agriculture from the wealth that proximity brings. "Care, passion and love for what is ours are the only way to continue growing and leave an authentic rural legacy for future generations", said the head of the area, Adrián Ivars.
During the day, which took place at the Seu Universitària, a logo was presented that encompasses the three uses of the muscatell; wine, table grapes and raisins. With this image it is intended to 'dress', through a promotional unit strategy, all the content of the plan.
Some of the activities included in the aforementioned document that was presented yesterday to more than fifty people are photographic contests, fresh grape muscatel contests, wine contests, thematic talks, training sessions or practical activities with prescribers from other regions, among others.
According to Adrián Ivars, "after taking the pulse of the different municipalities in the region, we are convinced that with this project we are going to go hand in hand in promoting the Muscatel grape." And it is that, the day was attended by mayors of different municipalities of the Marina Alta who showed their interest and, in addition, expressed the will to develop joint collaborative actions.
