Marinae Ensemble is one of the five projects that have the support of the Salom Sabar Foundation throughout 2022 through its Impulsa Cultura creation aid program. The project consists of a training orchestra for young musicians who study professional education at the Marina Alta Conservatories and seeks to guarantee a meeting point where they can complete their orchestral training in the chamber field, while promoting the culture of music chamber music in society.

The group will perform a Concerto Grosso with pieces by Haendel, A. Corelli, G. Torelli, a baroque instrumental form of Italian origin, recovered by various XNUMXth-century composers, based on the contrast between a small group of soloists and a full orchestra. The concert will be directed by Sergio Camarasa and performed by musicians Norah Bolufer, Maria Bolufer, Raul Capella, Lucia Cholbi and Desalegn Ronda, on violin; Ester Del Olmo with the viola; Marcos Ventura, Sergio Camarasa and Rubén Sendra on cello; Jean Roselló on double bass and Antonio Martínez on harpsichord and piano.

Sergio Camarasa, cellist and conductor trained in Xàbia, Alicante and Warsaw, is responsible for the birth of this project at the end of 2020. His vocation began at the Xàbia Conservatory and continued at the Óscar Esplà Superior Conservatory of Music in Alicante, where he would coincide with national and international teachers. His career allowed him to access the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw, where he was able to train with the prestigious cellist Tomasz Strahl. Throughout his training, he has been a performer in numerous music bands and orchestras, as well as baton of the Jove Orquestra del Center Artístic Musical de Xàbia.
