Last Sunday, November 7, the Festival of Concerts de la Tardor, Festival Internacional d'Orgue de Pedreguer, came to an end, with the successful participation of the Capilla del Misterio de Elx. The group offered a gala concert that took place in the Parish Church of Santa Cruz de Pedreguer. The festival thus concluded its 25th edition.
The Chapel of the Mystery of Elx packed the church with the tickets sold out for days. The ovation to the group after the final Coronation lasted for several minutes. The public thus recognized the meritorious performance of both the voices of the Chapel and the young people with white voices from the Escolanía.
The Pedreguer City Council, with the sponsorship of the ROLSER-Servicio y Pérez Foundation, was in charge of carrying out the entire initiative of the festival.
On the other hand, the last concert was attended by the president of the Valencian Courts, Enric Morera; the mayor of Pedreguer, Sergi Ferrús Peris; the Deputy Mayor and Councilor for Culture, Ferran Lloret Morell; the Deputy Mayor and Councilor for Tourism, Noèlia Miralles Gilabert.
The organ was in charge of accompanying the Chapel and the Escolanía del Misterio de Elche, with Ramón V. Cano Montoya, the master of ceremonies Joan Castaño García and the master of the chapel Francisco Javier Gonzálvez Valero.
The mayor thanked the Chapel for its participation and recalled Albert García Carrió, a chronicler from the town of Pedreguer who was recently absent and to whom the concerts have been dedicated, and has encouraged the audience to "find them again in the next editions."
