This morning the interdepartmental meeting took place to decide the measures that come into force as of Monday, May 24. From that moment on, all existing restrictions to date will fall and this new package that has been decided by the Consell throughout the Valencian Community will begin.
On the one hand, the Fourth Section of the Contentious-Administrative Chamber of the Superior Court of Justice of the Valencian Community (TSJCV) has just confirmed that it authorizes to continue with the curfew until June 7. Of course, the novelty is that it will be delayed until 01:00 in the morning and will be active until 06:00.
In addition, the Supreme Court agrees to limit groupings or meetings of a family and / or social nature to a maximum number of 10 people, both in public and private spaces, and the reduction to 75% of the capacity in places of worship.
The Fourth Section of the TSJCV argues that the so-called 'curfew' is much more effective than the other existing measures to "try to prevent the nightlife activity known as bottle", and this is reflected in a report by the National Police attached to the Valencian Community contributed to the cars.
The current situation of the Region is the best of all the European regions, with an incidence of 29 cases per one hundred thousand inhabitants. In addition, for the second consecutive day, no new deaths have been registered, a fact that has not occurred since August 2020.
On the other hand, the Generalitat has just reported on the new measures that will come into force, among which the expansion of the opening of the hotel business until 00:30 h. The capacity inside the premises will be 50%.
In addition, the capacity for cultural events is expanded to 3.000 people indoors and 4.000 outdoors. The rest of the measures remain as before.
