February 13 from 2023 - 11: 34

For the first time, in the Marina Alta region, a football team is made to compete in the 'Inclusive League of the Valencian Community'. This is the Sibari FC EDI team, made up of members of the Amadem and Aprosdeco associations.

The inclusive football league of the Valencian Community LFI2023 started this past Sunday in Castellón de la Plana and for the first time in the history of the region, a team with members from different towns of the Marina Alta has participated.

The team was born on the occasion of the I EDI Costa Blanca Tournament organized by Sibari FC and whose objective is to promote inclusive football in the Marina Alta.

Since the first tournament in 2020, Toni Rodríguez, Amadem's coordinator of physical-sports activities, was in charge of training the team weekly in order to continue this project with the hope of obtaining the necessary means so that this group could compete. in the different Inclusive Soccer Leagues.

Thus, for some time now, they have been training and competing in different mental health collective leagues, but this Sunday was the first time that SIBARI FC EDI competed in a federated league. An objective that Sibari FC has pursued since its foundation and that has been achieved thanks to the joint work of Franc Cebolla, the club's president, and Toni Rodríguez.

It is worth noting the enthusiasm and hard work of all the players: Brandon, Iván, Javi, Héctor, Gabi, Eric, Antonny, Raúl Ayala, Raúl Sánchez, Berny, Carlos and Cristian Dani who also see their dream of playing football in a regional inclusive league, which gives them the option of becoming one of the best inclusive football clubs in the Valencian Community.
