The City Council of La Vall de Gallinera has built a new paddle tennis court in the Ivan Alemany Puchol Sports Area of La Carroja with a cost of 57.445,59 euros financed 100% by the Alicante Provincial Council and in this way the Municipal Council, directed by Gent per la Vall since 2016, completes the actions planned in recent years in this sports area.
To date, the renovation and maintenance of the locker rooms, the municipal bar and the soccer and basketball court have been carried out, as well as the maintenance of the pool water sanitation equipment.
Added to this is the placement of solar lighting streetlights for the entrances and the paving of the access to the parking lot, along with the lighting on the soccer, basketball and paddle tennis courts.
From this new sports space, a new access operation to the two courts is established. For the sports court (basketball and soccer) the cost is free and it is not necessary to reserve in case of daytime use. In addition, there is the option of lighting with prior reservation in the application (free service).
As for the paddle tennis court, it costs 8 euros for an hour and a half and a prior reservation is always required in the application, which has lighting service included.
