The documentary come from lluny, directed by José Gayà and Pau Soler, from Col·lectiu Mirades, will have its premiere completely free-to-air on the Valencian television À Punt. The feature film narrates the history of the central Valencian regions and delves into that of the Marina Alta, covering it through the various cultures and civilizations that have inhabited it and "have left their mark on who we are today."
The expected launch will be Thursday, October 12, at 12:43 p.m., according to the network's programming schedule. In the 70-minute documentary, you can learn about the history of the region through more than 60 interviews and conversations with experts in archaeology, history and other subjects, as well as with real witnesses of its most recent chronology.
come from lluny was already presented in Dénia in 2022, in addition to various locations in the Marina Alta, which play a leading role in the production company's work.
In this project, Col·lectiu Mirades wanted to go further and has completed it with 12 more short films, one for each municipality in the region that has collaborated with the work. These are Dénia, Pedreguer, Gata de Gorgos, Benissa, Ondara, El Poble Nou de Benitatxell, El Verger, Els Poblets, Parcent, Orba, Xaló and Teulada Moraira.
