The Generalitat Valenciana has presented the VI Prizes for Urbanism, Mobility, Landscape, Housing and Architecture with a Gender Perspective. In these awards, in the category of municipalities with less than 5.000 inhabitants, the City Council of Xaló has been awarded for the project for the pedestrianization of the old district of the municipality.
The Second Vice President and Minister of Housing and Bioclimatic Architecture, Héctor Illueca, and the Minister of Territorial Policy, Public Works and Mobility, Arcadi Spain, highlighted the importance of the gender perspective to manage fairer and more egalitarian spaces and cities during the event for the VI Urbanism, Mobility, Landscape, Housing and Architecture Awards with a gender perspective.
