The Second Vice Presidency and Department of Housing and Bioclimatic Architecture has published the call with the bases to request the Youth Rental Bonus for the 2023-2024 edition. The Official Newspaper of the Generalitat Valenciana collects it as of April 28, 2023.
The Youth Rental Bonus represents a contribution of 250 euros per month for young people who are not older than 35 years. It is a total aid of 6.000 euros distributed in 24 monthly installments.
The general director of Housing Emergency, Pura Peris, has explained that who in 2022 submitted an application and did not receive the aid, they will only have to present a copy of the contract, single registration form, receipts, rent or assignment, responsible declarations and authorizations. Likewise, it has stressed that the application period for the new call will be one month, from May 2 to June 2, included.
Pura Peris has recalled that, to access this bonus, the beneficiary may also receive this help in case of sharing a flat. from among the terms, has indicated that they must be between 18 and 35 years old, inclusive, a work contract that does not generate more than three times the Public Indicator of Multiple Effects Income (IPREM) and be registered. The home or room must be the habitual and permanent residence during the entire period for which the aid is granted.
Government investment in Youth Rental Bonds
To the initial endowment of 22,8 million euros in charge of the Ministry of Transport, Mobility and Urban Agenda (MITMA), 30 million euros of the Generalitat's own funds will be added, as provided in the Decree Law of the Consell approved on past April 14. In total, a total of 52 million euros will be allocated.
As the aid is granted for two annuities, it is planned to allocate a total of 26 million euros for this year, and for the year 2024, the remaining 26 million.
Once the 2022 call was processed, with the credit provided entirely by the Government of Spain through MITMA (State Housing Plan 2022-2025), it has been possible to cover 3.910 applications that correspond to those that were presented between 1 and on June 15, 2022, with 16.700 applications pending.
