The Abargues House Museum in Benissa was built in the XNUMXth century and later restored. On the façade, above the door, there is a coat of arms that is a replica of the family coat of arms, in which you can see two sandals (in Valencian, encompasses), a type of shoe that gives rise to the family name.
The interior of the house has large spaces: living rooms, dining rooms, bedrooms, service rooms, stables ... In which furniture and belongings are also preserved. The Casa Solar de los Cabrera Abargues is now a museum, testimony to the way of life of the noble families of Benissa.
