This week the pruning of the trees in the municipality began, corresponding to Lot 1 (Old Town and expansion) of the contract for the pruning and maintenance of vegetation on public roads and green areas in the municipality.
The two-year contract is divided into four lots: Lot 1: Casco (Old Town and Expansion), Lot 2: Southern area (Avenidas Masnou and Valencia and urbanizations), Lot 3: Beach area (Avenidas Ejércitos Españoles and Juan Carlos I and beaches) and lot 4: Northern area (Accesses, school and sports areas and urbanizations).
The works include the pruning of the trees and the maintenance of the shrub species located in the medians of the main avenues of the municipality, such as the Diputación, Ejércitos Españoles or Juan Carlos I, as well as the cleaning of the municipal green areas.
The winning companies are the mercantile Fenixpoda SL (Lot 1) and Paisajistas del Mediterráneo (Lots 2, 3 and 4). The total contract award price, for two annual payments, was €168.464,68, broken down as follows: Lot 1: €11.146,52, lot 2: €9.770,75, lot 3: €35.670,80 and lot 4: €27.644,27.
