The municipal public library of Poble Nou de Benitatxell has been open since 2000, but it was originally located in the same building as the Town Hall. In 2002 it moved to its current location. It has a bibliographic collection of about 7000 copies.
Facilities
The Benitatxell reading agency has three floors: the first is the computer room and information consultation on the Internet; in the second there is a section for children, youth, novels and novelties; on the third floor are the general reference works for consultation.
In the library, cultural activities of the municipality are coordinated, such as days of animation for reading, conferences, adult education or school visits. This makes it a space that performs the functions of a culture house.
