Benissa receives the 'Archival' award for its recovery of the old town. Yesterday, the Councilor for Culture, Rosa Lucío Pino, received the award at the Valencia Provincial Council. The award rewards the maintenance of autochthonous traditions and collaboration in favor of the historical, cultural and environmental heritage of the Valencian Community.
Archival is a private, non-profit entity for the promotion and promotion of the recovery of the historic centers of Spain in urban, commercial, craft, cultural, tourist and social aspects. It also carries out awareness-raising and promotion activities: conferences, meetings, conferences and round tables, publications, exhibitions, documentation and information center, communication office, etc.

During the more than 30 years of its existence, the entity has awarded numerous institutions and personalities from social, cultural, artistic, environmental, business, professional, commercial, tourist and craft life, among other disciplines.
Pino, during his speech, thanked the work carried out by all the government teams that during democracy have contributed to improving Benissa's Heritage. Likewise, he took advantage of the occasion to recall that "we are currently intervening in the old Sala del Consell", a building that is expected to be open to the public in 2023.
