Benissa's summer school "Estiu Actiu" will start from June 28 to July 29 at the various municipal facilities. The novelty of this edition lies in the fact that general entertainment activities will be unified with sports activities. These had been grouped in past editions under the name of "Menut Esport".
Registration will open next Monday June 6 until Friday 10. To sign up through the Resasports application, boys and girls must be registered in the municipality. However, in the case of vacant places, a second period between June 13 and 17 will be opened with free access for anyone who wishes to be part of the school, regardless of whether or not they are a resident of Benissa.
The Councilor for Youth, Lorena Ivars, explained that "Estiu Actiu was born from the effort to bring the two schools together." "We intend to take advantage of the savings due to scale costs, be more operational in management and offer a broader proposal to all Benissa students," she added.
For his part, Adrián Cabrera, delegate for Education and Sports, reaffirmed his partner's arguments, highlighting that "many fathers and mothers stopped us in the street and demanded a unitary proposal that included recreational, training and sports activities in the same pack. ».

"Estiu Actiu" contemplates all kinds of transversal activities, among which water sports, painting, coordination games, walking routes, excursions, cooking and gastronomy, competitions, gymkhanas or crafts stand out. The established age ranges are as follows: between 3 and 5 years old, between 6 and 10 and 11 to 14 years old.
