Yellow alert: when will the polar mass reach the Marina Alta?

02 March 2022 - 09: 14

And again the weather looks unstable for next weekend. so much that The State Meteorological Agency has already activated the yellow alert on the north coast of Alicante due to rain.

The meteorological spring will start with a mass of cold air that will cross the country from northwest to southeast for the next few hours. Although for today, Wednesday, March 2, the temperatures will be high in the region due to the west wind, from Thursday the drop will be notable.

However, what worries the most is the rain. Everything seems to indicate that rainfall could reach the Marina Alta from Thursday afternoon although, above all, in the early hours of Friday. Which will also drop temperatures to winter levels.

For this reason, the AEMET yesterday announced a significant weather change for the peninsula with the passage of an active cold front, which will translate into the subsequent formation of a storm that will affect the region.

The trajectory of the front indicates that the forecasts will be correct and will produce in the east of the country locally heavy rain and strong gusts of wind. All this will lead to a maritime storm in the Mediterranean and could leave snow in the mountains.

In this way, the prediction of AEMET for Dénia announces a 100% chance of rain and a drop in temperature that will go from a maximum of 20ºC on Wednesday to 16ºC on Thursday. For its part, the forecast for Xàbia is practically the same, although it indicates less precipitation for the second half of Friday.

“Would the city council be able to look at its citizens in those areas again?”

Well, the City Council has made it clear, in these 10 years, that they are interested in collecting their salary, whatever happens to Jávea is lazy.

They have made it very clear that they are incapable, arrogant and ignorant, very, very ignorant.

A nightmare that we put up with while we sell the flat, I can't take it anymore.

Jávea is no longer the town that I liked so much, it is an overbuilt mass, a huge city, full of coarse people and a nest of the worst of the worst.

It hurts me a lot to have to pay with my taxes the salary to all these people, politicians and loudmouths who live from the story, undesirable suckers. The disgust of putting up with this situation is already too much.

    We're leaving shortly.

I'm telling you, Miguel, I'm the one who always complains about the abandonment of the park on Calle Pedro IV del Puerto and that the park is being taken over by young people drinking bottles and selling drugs. Total helplessness of the neighbors who complained for years and no case. Please fix the park and valleys so Denise is closed. I still don't want to sell the flat but like Miguel we are fed up

  2. Andrew says:

The authorities also do not attend to the requests of the residents of Pedro IV del Puerto street to act in the shower park, the street is very deteriorated and taken over by young people making drinks and selling drugs. Please let the park be closed and closed at night to avoid clashes with neighbors and that the Local Police act when they are called. It is urgent.

What would happen if the Arenal de Jávea flooded again? And the Salad? Would the city council be able to look again at its citizens in those areas? I do not think so.
It would be like a moving belt that passes and passes again without a solution and then the aid would arrive, the neighbors do not want aid, we want solutions so that it does not happen year after year every time a storm arrives.
More rainwater and more infrastructure are needed that can channel the water and prevent flooding in problem areas such as the Arenal-Saladar de Jávea that has been suffering for years, we ask for measures if any misfortune occurs and I hope not, all the blame and the weight of the law will fall on the municipal authorities of Jávea. Thanks.

The usual will happen, little speeches when everything is flooded causing significant damage, request for unity and to empty water little by little. In Denia they had more serious flooding problems, they tackled a brutal reform and solved it. This would be the moment to do it with European funds, but if Chulvi is incapable of building an auditorium, supporting a bridge or reforming a small square, what the hell is he going to be capable of managing such a substantial work with such an administrative bureaucracy?
They didn't choose him for that, but for being nice in the baret.

      • ENOUGH OF CHULVI!!! says:

It's just that I can't imagine Chulvi not even making a coffee, would you know?...I doubt it

        • position says:

Man, let's not be like that. If it's a powder, you give it instructions (in audio, that you don't have to read) and you put a couple of advisers on it that aren't plugged in... okay, no, it's not possible.
