The Calentura Bistro Restaurant has been the winner of the 84st Calp White Prawn Tapas Contest organized by the Calp Fishermen's Guild, the Calpe Businessmen's Association and the City Council to promote white shrimp consumption among the professional and consumer sectors particular. The Calentura Bistro Restaurant obtained 9.02 votes and an average rating of XNUMX points.
In the contest held during Firacalp, the El Arco Restaurant, El Santo Pizzeria, the Boquerón de Plata Restaurant, the Plaers Cafeteria Bar and the Calentura Bistro Restaurant participated. Each of them offered a tapa whose main ingredient was white shrimp. The tapa was priced at 2 euros and consumers could vote for the best tapa through an online form.
A total of 188 people participated who were able to assess the tapa with a score from 1 to 10. Among the people who have voted for the winning tapa, 5 dinners for two people have been drawn at the restaurants participating in the contest.
This contest, whose objective is to promote a typical Calp product such as white shrimp, intends to continue throughout the next editions of Firacalp and complete other promotional actions. The Councilor for Commerce, Paco Avargues, delivered the diploma on Friday to those responsible for the Calentura Bistro Restaurant.
