The latest Health update adds 17 new infections in the Marina Alta in the last three days, which places the total number of positives in the region at 10.137.
Ten of the new 17 positives have been registered in XàbiaThus, for the second consecutive update, the second municipality by inhabitants of the Marina Alta registers the highest number of positives. An outbreak was reported on Tuesday in the Xàbia football team.
As for the accumulated incidence in the region, it also rises slightly from 29 cases per 32 inhabitants on Tuesday, to XNUMX today.
Almost the entire region registers an incidence by municipalities below 25 cases per one hundred thousand inhabitants, that is, they are located in the so-called "new normal."
On the opposite side is Xàbia, which with the latest positive cases has skyrocketed the incidence to 103 cases per one hundred thousand inhabitants. They are followed by Benitatxell and Orba with 44 and Dénia with 28.
Fortunately, no deaths have been registered on this day. In fact, a month has passed without new deaths in the region, which since March 2021 has registered 203 deaths.
Currently in the Marina Alta there are 56 active cases, 29 of them in Xàbia and 12 in Dénia.
