Compromís per Pego was the second force with the most votes in the town in the previous municipal elections of 2019. They obtained 1.507 votes and as a result of these results they obtained five councilors.
To run in the 2023 municipal elections, the Pegolina Valencian formation has chosen Víctor Climent as its mayoral candidate, who has built four years of experience in the municipal corporation. We spoke to him in this interview to LaMarinaAlta.com to reveal his opinion about the current Pego and what he wants for the municipality in the coming years.
ASK. Why do you think the residents of Pego have to vote for you to be the mayor of their municipality for the next 4 years?
ANSWER. During the time that I have been involved in the municipal politics of Pego, I have served as the local secretary of the collective for 4 years and 4 more as a councilor to the opposition. This experience has given me a broad perspective on the functioning of the Town Hall and on how to manage work teams, a great experience to be able to govern our council with solvency. Q. How do you assess the management of the government team carried out in the last 4 years?
R. I thought that it is a general feeling in the population that Pego has not lived in the village for 10 years, there is a feeling of paralysis and lack of vision of the future. Q. CULTURE. What cultural actions do you think are most important and necessary for Pego?

Q. SOCIAL SERVICES. How do you think Pego's Social Services should be improved?

Q. URBAN PLANNING. What should the urban future of Pego be like? What measures do you propose in this matter?
