Everything is ready for the celebration of the Oktoberfests, the Beer Festival organized by the 2022 Festival Commission and which starts this Friday in the tent installed in the Parc de la Creativitat. On Friday the 8th at 20:11 pm, the puncture of the first barrel is scheduled with which this party will begin, which will last until October XNUMX.
Along with beer, another of the great attractions of this event is live music, so on the 8th the Xaranga La Xarlotà and McLucas Band will perform, on October 9 the xaranga El Truc will perform, on October 10 It will open at noon and there will be children's entertainment and the duo Ángel and Laura will perform and on October 11 the performance of the Bandeta Bernia is scheduled.
This initiative starts from the festivities of 2020 and consists of a beer festival taking advantage of the tradition that has existed in the town in this type of events for more than 30 years. "We intend to celebrate a Spanish beer festival with which to have fun and at the same time allow us to raise funds for next year's parties," said Mariola Mulet.
“October has always been a month of celebration in Calp; with the pilgrimage of Sant Francesc and the Moors and Christians festivities in honor of our patron saint, Santíssim Crist de la Suor, so this initiative completes our festive calendar ”, stated the Party Councilor Paco Avargues.
