The Department of Festivities of the Teulada City Council, Local Police and other departments involved, together with the participating associations, have decided to take all possible security measures to be able to enjoy the traditional Three Kings parade safely on January 5. .
It is an important event for the municipality, especially for children, in which a significant number of people are involved. Therefore, due to the increase in the accumulated incidence this year, it has been decided to make some changes to avoid crowds and situations of difficult compliance with security measures.
Changes in the parade of Kings of Teulada
The route to follow changes to wider streets, no stops will be made and the kings will not go down maintaining their positions. The itinerary of the parade will be as follows: it begins at 18:30 p.m. at the roundabout at the entrance of Teulada, Avd. De Europa, Plaza Jaume I, Avd. Las Palmas, C / Alacant, C / Mestre Mulet Borrell, Plaza de la Constitución, C / Benissa and Plaza VIé Centenari.
The representations of the visit of the Kings to Herod, the Annunciation and the Adoration of the Child will take place in Plaza VI Centenari. This space will be limited and separate chairs will be available to comply with the safety distance. It will not be necessary to reserve, since attendees will be able to access the venue in order of arrival and until capacity is complete.
The collection of packages has not been modified and will take place on Tuesday 4 (from 10 am to 20 pm) and Wednesday 5 January (from 9 am to 13 pm) at the Teulada Municipal Sports Center.
Changes in the parade of the Kings of Moraira
The route of the parade in Moraira remains unchanged, so it will start at the beach of l'Ampolla at 17:30 p.m. and will continue through C / Castillo, Avd. Madrid and Doctor Calatayud to Plaza de la Iglesia. Also, no stops will be made and the kings will not go down maintaining their positions.
The main events will take place in the Plaza de la Iglesia de Moraira, a space that will be limited and will have separate chairs to comply with the safety distance. It will not be necessary to reserve, since attendees will be able to access the venue in order of arrival and until full capacity is reached.
The collection of packages has not been modified and will take place on Tuesday 4 (from 10 am to 14 pm and from 15 pm to 19 pm) and Wednesday 5 January (from 10 am to 13 pm) at the CEIP Cap d'Or in Moraira, on the Children's entrance.
