The Department of Citizen Participation of the Teulada City Council announces the second outdoor Christmas decoration contest for this Christmas. In this way, as of today and until December 11, the registration period for residents of the municipality with housing in urban centers is open.

“The purpose of this contest is to invite the residents of Teulada Moraira to decorate and adorn the exterior of their houses. It is about immersing the homes of the municipality in the authentic Christmas atmosphere, decorated with great care and filling the streets with light, colour, life and Christmas spirit”, said the councilor for the area, Rosana Caselles.
Registrations
Registrations will be made through the email participacionciudadana@teuladamoraira.org. The name and surname of the participant, telephone number and email for notification purposes and the exact address of the property that is presented to the contest must be indicated in the mail, provided that the jury can visit the house later.
Theme
The theme will be the outdoor Christmas decorations, that is, areas of the houses to which there is visual access from the street. The aesthetics as a whole will be valued, as well as the amount of ornaments, color, originality and innovation.
Participation period
The last day to decorate the exteriors will be December 11. Thus, the jury, made up of three members of the Teulada City Council appointed by the councilor, will make its assessment as of December 12, without the presence of the participants being necessary.
There will be a distribution of prizes among the best decorations at an individual level. Therefore, 2 prizes of 150 euros, 2 prizes of 100 euros and 2 prizes of 50 euros will be awarded.
The winners of the contest will be published on December 19 on the website of the Teulada City Council, on its Facebook and Instagram. In addition, the winners will be notified via email or the contact that they provide in the registration.
It should be noted that registration in the contest implies authorization to take photographs and recordings by audiovisual means, which can be disseminated in local, regional or national publications.
