The Teulada Moraira City Council Youth Department, led by Verónica Martínez, has launched a new initiative to promote the professional development of young entrepreneurs. It is about setting up "coworking" spaces to offer a collaborative work environment and facilitate the exchange of ideas and knowledge among young entrepreneurs in the town. A measure that seeks to support and promote entrepreneurship among the youth of the municipality.
The main objective of this project is to provide the necessary tools to all users who need it, so that they can carry out their work in a public space, with free internet access and "the tranquility of an office". In this way, Classroom 4 of Espai La Senieta de Moraira will be enabled first for this purpose, due to its immediate availability. Subsequently, once the improvement works in other local spaces are finished, a second "coworking" will be set up in Teulada.
Verónica Martínez has described this project as an adaptation to the current situation. «Because we are constantly changing and coexisting with new technologies and teleworking and entrepreneurship are increasingly developed from a simple computer and internet connection. But not all young entrepreneurs can afford a workspace. That is why we have thought of them and of all the residents and visitors who need this type of service, enabling public spaces for their personal and professional growth”.
«The «coworking» spaces in Teulada Moraira will be a reality from now on. We have been working and studying the way to accommodate such an important demand and in a few weeks we will have the first one up and running. We are constantly listening to respond to the needs of our municipality and this is one of them", said the mayor of Teulada Moraira, Raúl Llobell.
