The accumulated incidence of infections in the Marina Alta continues to decrease

The new data on the evolution of the coronavirus in the Marina Alta region shows a decrease in the accumulated incidence compared to the previous day. Although 186 new positive cases have been registered, almost 20 more than last Friday, the accumulated incidence of the Health Department of Dénia has decreased by 30 points, standing at 283 cases per 100.000 inhabitants compared to 312 recorded the previous day.

Currently, the region has brought together 40.506 cases since the pandemic began, of which 483 are still active; 50 less than the previous Friday.

Focusing on municipalities, Dénia has once again been the town that has recorded the most infections in the last five days with 53 new positives, even so its incidence has dropped by 88 points in recent days, standing at 291 cases per 100.000 inhabitants.

In number of new infections, it is followed by Xàbia which has added 42. On this occasion, the town has apparently registered an increase in the incidence of 42 points, which once again exceeds the barrier of 400 cases per 100.000 inhabitants.

In the rest of the towns of the Marina Alta, 14 add new cases, being: Teulada 18, Calp with 13, Benissa 14, Pego 8, Pedreguer 8, Ondara 12, Gata de Gorgos 5, El Verger 5, La Vall d'Ebo 2 , El Poble Nou de Benitatxell 1, Els Poblets 1, Orba 4, Alcalalí, Benidoleig 1 and Ràfol d'Almúnia 1.
