If you're thinking about not voting, let me ask you...
Not voting probably means no change at all, or change for those in charge and their supporters.
Voting for change means letting others prove what they say. The current ruling party has already suggested all their new promises for the next 4 years, but remember they were in charge for the last 20 years and apart from 1-2 new promises, which were actually copy/pasted from the opposition , those promises are exactly the same every 4 years and nothing changes.
If you like that, then voting can be simple, just let yours at the polling stations guide you to the voting rooms, they may have already slipped a ballot paper into your pockets with their names on it for "convenience" and It's obviously not legal, but hey... Since no one has the guts to say anything about it...
Now we do have an interesting situation in our beloved town. Our mayoress, since day 1 of the last elections of 2019, has been accusing some opponents of being harsh and unfair to them. As we all know when she found out that the decision was made from the highest levels of her party not to count on her for the 2023 elections, and they sent her lost son to save the town, she left that same party in an act of pure love, to form her own party, and now all of a sudden it turns into harsh and unfair treatment against that very party... that's fine, as long as she's the one doing it.
The fact is... It's been 20 years of power and promises, and look how the town is... Apart from tall buildings and stairs pointing towards the entrance of the mayor's office and many promises, that if they haven't been fulfilled, it has always been the fault of others. They have not created much new in the last 4 years, ask them, and they will tell you that others are always to blame, etc, etc...
Politics such and such... Seriously, it's not my way of solving things, but it is what it is, vote with your instincts, not with your emotions, and remember, voting is anonymous, so no one will know why who did you vote...
