The Public Health Commission has approved this Tuesday vaccination for children between 5 and 11 years old. On December 15, the immunization of the age group that is registering the most infections will begin at this time.
The decision came after the approval of the European Medicines Agency (EMA) and the endorsement of the Vaccine Report, the group of technicians that advises the Spanish health authorities.
The vaccine to be administered will be Pfizer. On December 13, the first vials will arrive and will be distributed in the autonomous communities so that immunization begins on the 15th.
The first dose will be administered between December 15 and January and the second at eight weeks. After starting this vaccination, only those under 5 years of age remain to have their immunization against covid-19 approved.
