Last night, the Alicante Provincial Firefighters Consortium received the rescue notice of three climbers on the south face of the Peñón de Ifach. Specifically in the last section of the UBSA dihedral track.
The trapped people had lost power and had no chance to continue their climb. The notice was received at 21:37 p.m., but the intervention ended at 03:19 a.m. For the operation, two members of the team were present, who began the climb around 22:30 p.m.
Fortunately, the climbers were in good condition. For this reason, the specialized team climbed to the top together with those affected and finished it at 02:41. For the rescue, a rescue van and the two GER climbers from the mountain rescue group of the Benidorm and Cocentaina parks were necessary.
Es gibt eigentlich keinen passenden Begriff für so viel Dummheit, sich selbst bzw tolle Helfer so unverantwortlich in Lebensgefahr zu bringen. Ab ca 20 Uhr ist es doch absehbar, meine Herrschaften, daß eine solche Aktion immer im Dunkeln endet. Mit allen dazugehörigen Risiken und Gefährdungen. Hoffentlich wird's teuer .
Ganz schön blöde um 20 Uhr oder wenig früher auf so etwas zu klettern. Einfach krank ! Und dabei andere Spezialisten auch noch in Gefahr zu bringen. Ich verbeisse mir passende Begriffe. Aber is wird sicher teuer.
