RED Benitatxell denounces four consecutive courses of barracks in the CEIP Santa María Magdalena

12 September 2022 - 11: 14

This Monday the school year began in the schools and institutes of the Valencian Community. That is why, from the Grupo Red del Poble Nou de Benitatxell, they have wanted to present their rejection of the use of barracks in the CEIP Santa María Magdalena school for "already 4 years".

"One more year the school year begins with barracks due to laziness and the local government team's lack of desire to work," says RED. According to the statement issued, they defend "lack of governance" by the current government team led by Miguel Ángel García.

The effort to denounce the use of barracks in the school by the political group lies in the announcement made by the municipal government in 2018 in which "they were going to speed up the reform of the CEIP Santa María Magdalena school by finalizing the report before the end of the year ".

Therefore, they extract statements that the City Council made at the time about this action: “The quality of the CEIP Santa María Magdalena facilities is a priority of the current government team. The Edificant Plan needed a boost as it was moving very slowly. It is a priority of the current government team and we are going to focus so that the deadlines are speeded up”, they said.

According to RED, to date "the only thing that has ended is the valued memory and it is there because it was almost finished by the previous government formed by the Red Group." In addition, they add that this type of announcement is something habitual in the government team, which "has us accustomed to announcing all kinds of projects and hoping that a miracle will carry them out. And, in this case in which the Ministry does contributes the financing of the reform, it is a pity that the students continue in barracks due to the reluctance of our rulers to work".
